Smashing Pumpkins x Jay-Z? Mash-up 专辑要听听！

十几年前，正确来说是 2004 年，音乐人 Danger Mouse 推出了一张 mashup 专辑《The Grey Album》，大家可以当成是 remix 专辑，但就是将 The Beatles 于 1968 年推出的“白专辑”（The White Album）内的歌曲，sample 到 Jay-Z 于 2003 年推出的《The Black Album》中的歌曲内。那个时候令到乐坛轰动一时... 2020 年，rapper Spose 也在网上发布了一张 mashup 专辑，将乐队 The Smashing Pumpkins 在1995 年推出的专辑《Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness》sample 到 Jay-Z 的《The Black Album》中！

当年《The Grey Album》版 The Beatles 的发行商 EMI 阻止发行及售卖，令到不少音乐网站唱片店群起反抗，举行《The Grey Album》的限时下载，争取 sampling 的自由采用。连 Jay-Z 及 The Beatles 成员 Paul McCartney 都支持这张专辑，Paul 更指唱片公司对这专辑过份大惊小怪呢。Danger Mouse 则强调《The Grey Album》一直以来都是一件艺术企划，不是要去牟利。

16 年过去，Jay-Z 的 mashup 专辑再现！今次是由 rapper Spose 主理的，用了 alternative rock 乐队 The Smashing Pumpkins 的 1995 年专辑《Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness》作 sample！Spose 的这张 mashup 专辑名为《Marcy Projects And The Infinite Sadness》，于 twitter 上分享了：
