Pink Floyd 长老 Roger Waters 悼念传奇歌手翻唱《 Paradise 》

传奇美国 folk 唱作人 John Prine 上星期因新冠肺炎（ COVID-19 ）去世，终年 73 岁。多位音乐人都向他送上最后致意，当中有另一传奇音乐神人、乐队 Pink Floyd 的“长老”Roger Waters，他以翻唱 John Prine 的首本名曲、讽刺采矿公司的发展无度的作品《 Paradise 》作致敬。

《 Paradise 》一曲收录在 John Prine 于 1971 年推出的同名处子专辑中，是一首很有意思的歌曲，诉说了 John Prine 的父亲当年在肯德基当媒矿工人的事迹，则讽当时的媒矿公司 Peabody（ Peabody 现时仍是世上最大的私人矿公司）为了采矿和兴建发电厂而催毁了一个小村庄 Paradise，这小村庄是真实地方，原址中还剩下的建筑物也只有在发电厂不远处的一个小坟场 Weir Cemetery。听听 Roger Waters 的翻唱版本：
